PPR Digital provides Meal Mark. This policy describes how the app handles information.<\/p>\n
PPR Digital does not store your data. Profile details, meal logs, chat, and settings stay on this phone only. We do not keep a copy on our servers. Meal Mark does not require an account.<\/p>\n
If you change phones or factory reset this phone, data left only on that phone is lost. You can export a file from Settings and import it on another phone. Meal Mark does not keep that file.<\/p>\n
Meal Mark uses AI for the functions below. The information needed for each function is sent to AI over the internet so that function can run. PPR Digital does not keep a copy of what you send.<\/p>\n
That information is sent to a service operated for Meal Mark, which passes it to the AI provider for that function and returns the result. It is not saved as a profile, meal history, or chat history.<\/p>\n
– Log a meal by typing: the food text you enter is sent so AI can estimate its nutrients. This is processed by OpenAI.
\n– Speak: A short recording is sent so AI can turn your speech into text and then estimate the meal. The recording is processed by Deepgram. OpenAI processes the resulting text.
\n– Photo: The picture you take is sent so AI can name the food and portion. This is processed by Ollama. After you submit that description, the text is sent so AI can estimate the nutrients. That text is processed by OpenAI.
\n– Daily targets: your age, sex, height, and weight are sent so AI can set recommended daily intakes. If you add lifestyle, medicines, or health conditions, those details are sent as well, including when you save them again from Profile. This is processed by OpenAI.
\n– Suggest: your profile, the foods logged that day, and that day\u2019s nutrient totals and targets are sent so AI can suggest what to eat. This is processed by OpenAI.
\nChat: your message, recent chat, and your profile are sent so AI can reply. If intake is included, it also sends that day\u2019s nutrient totals. This is processed by OpenAI.<\/p>\n
We use camera and microphone access only when you choose Photo or Speak.<\/p>\n
Theme, notifications, app lock, your PIN, and an exported data file stay on this phone and are not sent to AI. Meal Mark does not use GPS, Bluetooth, or your contacts.<\/p>\n
If you turn on notifications, the app schedules local reminders for breakfast, lunch, and dinner using your phone\u2019s clock. Optional app lock uses this device\u2019s fingerprint, face, or a PIN you choose. The PIN is stored only on the device.<\/p>\n
Daily intake, Calendar, and Chat show a banner ad, and fruit and vegetable pages in the library show an ad. Google provides those ads and may use this phone\u2019s advertising ID. Meal Mark does not send your meal logs, profile, or chat with an ad, and does not sell them.<\/p>\n
Google\u2019s handling of advertising data is described in the [Google Privacy Policy](https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy).<\/p>\n
You can delete a day\u2019s log or clear history inside the app. Uninstalling the app, changing phones, or factory resetting the phone removes the data stored on the device.<\/p>\n
Meal Mark is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.<\/p>\n
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.<\/p>\n
